Zaineb is an educator, consultant, and advocate in the field of neurodiversity-affirming education and autism support. She is a DIRFloortime certified expert with a master's degree in education and certification as a BC Independent School Teacher. Zaineb brings both strong academic knowledge and practical experience to her work with children, families, and professionals.
Her interests focus on autistic children's emotional development, self-esteem, and authentic inclusion in schools and communities. She works closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals locally and internationally, offering consultation, training, and workshops grounded in neurodivergent-affirming principles.
Beyond her professional work, Zaineb's advocacy is deeply personal. She is a mother of two neurodivergent children and lives in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, with her husband Ali, their children Lulu and Danny, and their two cats Otis and Chester. Her lived experience as a parent informs her compassionate and relational approach to supporting autistic children and their families.
Zaineb is currently pursuing further academic growth and plans to pursue a PhD in Health and Psychology, with a focus on emotional development and well-being in autistic children. She is also an international speaker and collaborator, contributing to conferences and professional learning initiatives, and is passionate about shifting narratives around autism toward respect, dignity, and relational understanding.
Outside of her professional life, Zaineb enjoys cooking, road cycling, walking in nature, and traveling activities that help her stay grounded, curious, and connected to the world around her.
The goal is not to control the behavior but to understand the reasons behind it.
