We are passionate about sharing our knowledge with families, front line personnel, care teams and agencies! We believe that education based on current research and best practices will strengthen the family, support the development of abilities and increase success for all. To achieve this, we tailor our presentations, workshops and training to meet the needs of the group, whether a small group in a family home or local community centre or agency-wide training, we have been there!
What began as a small in-class presentation for Elizabeth in her post-secondary class has blossomed into a well-recognized youth panel who share their living expertise of Life All Over the Spectrum! This panel has presented at local high school districts, the BC Ed Access annual conferences and at the University of the Fraser Valley multiple times! A no-holds barred sharing of the challenges of being autistic in a world that does not always understand, this group shares personal stories to challenge myths and breakdown barriers. A powerful learning experience for all, there are guaranteed laughter and celebration as well!
Our team takes pride in our wide-ranging presentation experience, from local school districts and distributed learning programs to not-for-profit agencies and support groups. Notably, Elizabeth and Marsha have showcased their expertise at the Canadian National Conference for FASD and have conducted regional and provincial training for FASD Key Workers. Our international presence is equally strong, with presentations at the European Alliance Conference in Barcelona, Rome, and Berlin. A highlight for Marsha and Elizabeth was presenting at the first Canadian National Conference on FASD in 2023, marking a significant milestone in our journey of sharing knowledge both nationally and internationally.
